The Neepawa Natives played a pair of games over the weekend against the OCN Blizzard, with mixed results. Neepawa lost to OCN on Saturday, Nov. 19, by the score of 3-1, but bounced back in impressive fashion the following night with a 4-2 victory.

Neepawa Curling Club
The Neepawa Curling Club is humming on Wednesdays at 4:30, with activity and the sound of youth curlers aged 8 and up. Similar to last year, the session is run by volunteers familiar with the game of curling. Through fun drills and games, the children are taught curling etiquette, safety on the ice, proper form on delivery and sweeping techniques, game strategy and of course rules of the game.

Recording two shutouts in three games, Winkler Flyers’ netminder Cole Weaver has been named this week’s Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week. Weaver was outstanding in helping the Flyers win three games, while recording an incredible GAA of 0.33 over that span.
