Digital projector ordered for Roxy in Neepawa

You can call the campaign to save the Roxy Theatre a success.
The committee that runs the Neepawa-based theatre have ordered a new digital projector as well as new sound equipment.
The new upgrades are expected to be installed sometime in February.
The Roxy, which is one of the last independent theatres in the province, needed to raise more than $85,000 to change to digital projection or it may have had to stop showing films.
Manitoba to expand ignition interlock program

Ignition interlock use will now be a requirement for all convicted impaired drivers who wish to drive legally following their license suspension. The new rules come into effect on Dec. 15 and will now include drivers convicted of an impaired driving offence for the first time.
